The story

On July 31, 2026, Copenhagen Fashion Week and Renoon announced a collaboration on AI-assisted screening of the event’s Sustainability Requirements. Their announcement describes a first pilot planned for the AW27 edition, following testing and development.

The system is intended to help assess brands’ submitted responses and supporting documentation. External screening partner Rambøll will continue to lead the screening process, according to the organisers.

Bloom Circle’s perspective: the useful question is what evidence gets checked, by whom, and with what limits. A screening process is not the same as proof that every product from a participating brand has a lower environmental impact.

This briefing describes the announced plan. It does not independently verify the technology’s effectiveness or the environmental performance of participating brands. The official announcement below explains the intended process and rollout.
