CommunityMake room for one more.

Less pressure to bring something impressive. More room to find something useful.

A good clothes swap begins with clear expectations. Agree on clean, wearable items and make it clear that people can come for the conversation as well as the clothes. Nobody needs to arrive with a spectacular donation.
Allow time to look without an audience, and avoid commenting on how something should fit another person. Sizes and tastes vary; a relaxed atmosphere matters more than a perfect rail.
Decide together what will happen to unclaimed pieces. The aim is a useful exchange, not moving the burden of unwanted clothes from one home to another.
